What is your take on the BCS poll

Postby KBevangelist » October 19th, 2008, 5:44 pm

Top Ten include:

1 Texas

2 Alabama

3 Penn State

4 Oklahoma

5 USC

6 Oklahoma State

7 Georgia

8 Texas Tech

9 Ohio State

10 Florida

Frankly I am pure shocked that Ga is ahead of Florida. But the computers like Ga. Just not the humans.

Oh well

Not surprised the computer put UGA before Florida. Since the beginning of the season it has been said that Bama and especially UGA have the toughest schedules. Since that figures in the BCS ranking, that puts them ahead.

I'm flattered and flabbergasted that we're in a position to be #2 in the BCS. I'm also not harboring any illusions about it. Time will tell, but I can't see us remaining undefeated. Maybe just defeated enough to get into the SEC Championship game, which will be way more than I ever expected coming into the season. Way more. I feel good about it, but I don't expect it to last.

My thought is that it will be Bama representing the west in the SEC championship. I think they will have one loss before that game and I think they will lose to either Florida or Georgia at the SEC. Next year will be their year.

I think Alabama will lose as well, because they are simply a first half team. However, they are holding on win in the second half and that says alot. I do however want them to go undefeated and be in the SEC championship and hopefully be hammered by UGA. If we get there.

I tell you at the moment to me, it looks like Jo Pa has got it going on up there in Penn St and if they beat Ohio st this weekend, that will be number 2.

Texas is a lock, unless they lose
