They tried their best, after being up 3-1, to let the Sox go back.

I hope it goes 7 games. I want Jamie Moyer to get 2 World Series pitching victories. Dont really have a favorite team in it, I like them both.

I didn't realize they changed their name. That's how much I follow baseball, I guess. I'm glad for them. I know they were on the verge of being eliminated like the Expos a couple of years ago. Now, they're in the Series. Cinderella lives! I'm pulling for them, too, just for that reason.

I'm just glad we don't have Boston/New York in the WS. Or LA for that matter.

Just think how much the broadcasters would have milked the Manny Ramirez storyline had it been an LA-Boston series.

Not that we have any bettors on here, but if anyone was astute enough before the season began, I read today that before the season, the Rays were 200-1 odds at winning. Now Vegas if favoring them. Wouldnt it have been nice to put up a few bones back in March. oh well.

I want Jamie Moyer to get 2 World Series pitching victories.

After 45 years and 22 major league seasons, Moyer finally got his first pitching vicotry in the World Series. He was amazing. That put the Phillies up 3-1. The Rays are now facing Cole Hamels who is 4-0 in the post season with an era of 1.55

The WS should never be played in this kind of weather. Shorten the season to 120 games, start April 1, go to the end of August with it, start playoffs September 1, and make the Series end in the first week of October.
