Praline Sweet Potatoes

Postby Sherry » October 28th, 2008, 1:38 pm

Here you go! It's really delicious!!! :D

o 6-2/3 cups mashed sweet potatoes
o 3/4 cup and 1 tablespoon and 1 teaspoon white sugar
o 3 tablespoons and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
o 6-3/4 eggs, beaten
o 1-2/3 cups heavy cream
o 7 ounces butter
o 1-2/3 cups packed brown sugar
o 3/4 cup and 1 tablespoon and 1 teaspoon all-purpose flour
o 2 cups and 1 tablespoon chopped pecans

Butter one 2 quart casserole dish. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

In a mixing bowl, combine the sweet potatoes, sugar, vanilla extract, eggs and cream. Blend well, and spread evenly in casserole dish.

Prepare the topping by combining the butter, brown sugar, flour and pecans. Mix until crumbly, and sprinkle over sweet potato mixture.

Bake for 30 minutes in the preheated oven.

Serves 10

YellowRose is this the one you put on here about 2 years ago? If it was it is simply scrumptiously delicious..hummmmm.
I made it 2 years ago..tried another receipe last year, it didn't come near good.

I've been wanting to get that receipe again for this Thanksgiving.
