I Dread Tonight (and Tomorrow)!!!

The National Weather Service is predicting snow for the Middle Tennessee area tonight and tomorrow. A pox upon the NWS! Do they know what they have done? Do they not realize that the very mention of snow transforms the people of this region? When people around here hear the word "snow" they equate it to BLIZZARD. They immediately run to the store and buy all the bread and milk (nothing else) that they can stuff into their cars. When the snow actually arrives, meaning the second snowflake falls, they return to the streets to see how many cars they can bounce off of. When they finally tire of this they park their cars in a ditch. Once they have successfully "parked" they take one of two actions. They either; 1.) Stand on the roadside, shivering while they await the tow truck that will un-park them. Or. 2.) They will abandon their car, parked with it's rear end obstructing half of the traffic lane while they find someplace warm to await the tow truck.

Oh the joys of snow in Tennessee! :evil:
