Speaking of bowls

Postby pastorables » November 30th, 2008, 11:35 am

It seems that most bowl projections, including ESPN, have Ole Miss pegged to square off against Texas Tech in the Cotton Bowl. :D

Where is your team projected to go?

Looks like Liberty or Music City for Vandy. Liberty pays more but Music City is home and an ACC opponent.

Bama, which probably loses to UF, and Ohio State in the Sugar.

I don't know about Bama losing next week. Percy Harvin is hurt and is questionable for Saturday. Being a Gator fan, I hope FL can pull it out but I believe it will be a very close game.

It's official! Ironically, Ole Miss QB, Jevan Snead, transferred from the Texas Longhorns to the Rebels last year.

Is Leach going to be at TT for the bowl game or will somebody pay him $$$ to leave?

Vandy is a lock for the Music City Bowl. I'm looking for tickets.

Rose Bowl

Postby Paully_44 » December 8th, 2008, 12:38 pm

The Rose Bowl has shaped up to hopefully be a good one this year. Hoping USC wins it.

USC wins the Rose by 10, I predict. Or more. But, I'm for Penn State.

Nashville businesses are complaining that since Vandy is essentially playing a home game in the Music City Bowl that they won't get a lot of revenue this season. They wanted Kentucky again but Memphis got Kentucky.

Exactly.... I'll be rooting for Penn State and JoePa... I believe Florida can beat OK. I think Florida's defense can slow that OK offense down but I don't know about stopping it.
