Bologna that has been pickled.

Chunk bologna that has vinegar and spices poured over it and sealed in a similar way that cucumbers become Pickles.

Interesting. Never heard of it before, but would try it.

Mountain Dew is very hard to find in the northern states. Diet, esp. So, on the rare occasions I venture northward out of the SEC states, I take some with me.

PG, let me know how many Peach Ice Breakers you want and I'll get them to you. I'm not sure our grocery wholesaler carries that flavor, and we don't sell it, (in fact, this is the first I've seen it), but we sell a good many Ice Breakers so I can check it out.

Cheerwine and Big Red fans --- how do you stand it?! I used to drive an RC truck before we moved to TN to go to TC. Man, alive, I'd schlupp those two flavors off on whoever I could get to take them. I was always picking them up as out of dates because they didn't sell. Big Red sold a little better in neighborhoods where lots of black kids lived, but that was about it. This was in 1990, too.

Sun Drop --- never find it up north and in a lot of places in the south is hard to come by. Limestone County, Alabama --- that's ALL they drink. Outsells Coke and Pepsi there. Remarkable. Does well throughout all of north Alabama, though.

Dolfan, Big Red is all some people drink around here and to me it tastes like cherry cough syrup- yeck! My kids don't even like it. :)

I think it is what you grew up on- that has to be an acquired taste. :)

I had a friend from Canada who worked with me and was so excited when his friends would bring down Ketchup flavored potato chips. They were completely gross to me, though.

Whenever I go to Ky I always bring back a case of Ale8. I heard Coke bought out the distribution rights but still can't find it in Va.

DaJudge, there is a Po Folks in Warner Robins, Georgia or at least there was in 2004.

Gerald, I have never seen a chicken club biscuit from Mrs. winners though we have several Mrs. Winners around. I'm sure they would make one if someone asked for it. The last several times I have visited a Mrs. Winners the biscuits were burnt and the chicken tasted like it was cooked 30 minutes prior.

Our White Castles still have Church's Chicken inside and in fact I ate there Friday. Very bland chicken strips.

Nehi, Big Red, and Double Cola are fairly easy to find around these parts.

I forgot about Biscuitville in NC. They have a real Chicken Club biscuit that rocks. There is one in Greensboro where the next IA will be held. Gotta try that if you go. Chicken, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and cheese (I pass) on a biscuit.
I have piped unto you, and ye have not danced!

Basically exactly what it says...Bologna that has been pickled. Dad used to buy this in KY and take back to IL as well, then when the bologna was all gone, he'd have Mom boil some eggs and put them in there to have pickled eggs.

I think that's just local distribution still, I know I was excited about it when I first heard it too, but it's still mainly available in Eastern KY (even a couple hours from Winchester is starts getting harder to find and more expensive).

Wow, I wasn't too far from that in Wilmington (Joliet area) and it was all over. I worked at a local grocery store, and as soon as the truck was unloaded we'd grab a pop to help us stay awake and just leave the money at one of the registers (we started at 4 AM the store didn't open till 6 or 7). Dan always had a MD, and I had a cherry coke.

White Castle smokes Krystal. I've actually called White Castle headquarters and begged them to open in Florida. Can you believe they won't open in MickeyLand?
