This is what I asked for for Christmas. My BIL has a Nuvi and loves it.
To God be the Glory.

I have a Garmin. Small, compact, flat and I never use it.

Yeah, well Moses never asked for directions either. It's a man thing.

Only issue I have with ours is that it loses satellite at times. That's pretty annoying. I love it otherwise.

Well since I never leave the area that I grew up in I suppose I don't really need it.
I wanted one when I worked for Comcast but never forked over the dough. Mom bought me this one for my BD. She was a least a year late.

I bought the Garmin Nuvi 200 that was on sale for $97.00 at Wal-Mart. It works great. It is easy to use. You can go to the Garmin Website and download different vehicles and voices, as well as update the software that comes on the unit. Well worth the price. The internet price was $199.00.

Pricing is about the same as the others.

Yes I have had one before, it died, not sure if I did something to it.

If you are interested in one I know a guy that has two that he wants to sell. One has never been used. Selling that one for 90 bucks and the other barely used and selling it for 75. If interested let me know he is hard up for cash, he bought for his business and the business went under. trying to sell everything.

The cool thing about nextar is that after warr, if it dies you can go on line and send in your old one and they will replace with a new one for about 125 bucks. No matter what is wrong with it. They did at one time.
