That blog presents a pretty good attitude. I have found it a little odd, but understandable, when people, Christian or non-Christian, hesitate to say Merry Christmas to me. If I can catch it in time, I say Merry Christmas first, to let them know that I like being greeted that way. I'm thinking, "Holy cow, people, the whole world's absurd. Get over it already! It's Christmas. Hello?"
Besides, the national holiday is called Christmas, so why wouldn't all national citizens want to wish each other a merry one?
