She is going to be a major player in the republican party, I do feel she will gain more and more popularity. I think she will also be more public about issues the next four years.

In a time where Government is now wanting to tax everything we need a good conservative to come out and speak about good ideas!!!! Fair Tax PLEASE

are wanting the mileage tax....and now the government is wanting to tax gas so it will always stay around $4.00 a gallon so we buy smaller cars it is ABSURD. I don't care if they cut sales tax or federal tax it is ridiculous.

I also heard some say tax cars based on weight like Japan does...Of course they do that they make small cars, if we all buy small cars it will get rid of the big three and nobody can bail them out.
In 2008 the best selling vehicle was still the Ford F-150 that is where they make money, sorry but the big three can NOT compete with Toyota, Honda etc. with cars alone!

Sorry for the hijack feel free to move this but I said all of that to point out we NEED a conservative that will speak out correctly and NOT just when they want political points. I do NOT want to hear someone bashing Obama ALL the time as they did Bush I would rather hear a arena of IDEAS. I have never been so upset with the ideas of Government, funny enough it has nothing to do with Obama at the moment, his party is upset that he has been moving to the middle a little, While republicans are now calling Bush a socialist....

I must say I am upset with the Republicans!!!!! Democrats will do what they will but my party is failing me, they can blame Bush for doing what they were going to do anyway but this way they do not take the heat for it Bush does.......Backbones please.

I think Tim almost hi-jacked the entire thread. That is not playing nice even though it is legal. Ha

Back to Sarah Palin I really like her. I like the fact that she is very down to earth and she and her husband seem like good hardworking people who live their lives very much like ordinary people with all of the ups and downs associated with family and jobs and still keep their faith and values. We are so used to rich politicians who are often corrupt while they are talking about family values. She seems honest and hard working and very real. That to me is refreshing. I don't think she was given a fair shake by the media but I believe she has learned a lot and will be much better prepared for a high profile position in the future.

Tim, Tim.. is still trying to reinvent himself and find his place in this world. A constant reinvention.. like a soap opera. God loves you Tim... stop pretending to have it all together. You don't fool anyone here as being any judge for good or balance... much less acceptable law. Your understanding may pass.. but your heart is still wrong.

BTW.. PALIN IS INCREDIBLE!

Okay, I am going to be nice to Tim here.

I understand a little about the laws when it comes to "intellectual properties".

Tim was simply (in his own unashamedly harsh way) trying to help educate us in that area. I think it was well intentioned....but then he goes over the top a little....

But, I will give him a kudo for caring about the laws.....even though he thinks christians don't care about them.....he may be right ....I SPEED and I seldom wear a seat belt....just cause I don't want someone to tell me I have to.

Again....that's okay Tim. You were at least right in your concern for the right way to quote.

According to some of my Baptist friends there is no way you can unbecome a Christian no matter how badly you want to. One of my friends said he heard a Baptist minister tell a congregation that if they did not want to go to Heaven they should have thought of that before they got saved. Now they would go to Heaven no matter what they did. That flies in the face of all I have ever been taught but to each his own I suppose.
