Year in review COGOP 2008

[captaindw]

Hello everyone,

I seldom post here, but read these forums daily. Please help me put together a list of the most significant events and/or happenings for the Church of God of Prophecy (COGOP) in 2008. Think globally (higher than your local church level), and discuss items such as:

- changes (or lack of) in doctrine
- deceased brethren
- new or changes in International appointments
- vision and harvest
- alliances with other churches and/or ministries
… anything else of importance

The International Assembly in August 2008 for sure was the main event for COGOP this year, which may have set the course for the remainder of 2008 and beyond.

Thanks, and "Feliz Año Nuevo" (Happy New Year)

What about natural disasters and how they affected local CoGoP congregations at home and abroad?
