I am in Tyler, TX at the moment. My dad and I are staying here tonight and will finish the drive to dallas in the morning.

I am soooooo excited about this game! And, I am really excited that I get to share the excitement with one of the greatest men in the world: my daddy!

so, any predictions on scores?

I am going to say 31-28 Ole Miss

You know, I like Ole Miss and all, but I just think Harrell and Crabtree are too much for them.

I predict TT 47, OM 24

The nation's 4th best offense (TT) against the nation's 14th best defense (UM). It should be interesting.

I hope the Rebs can pull it out. Though I respect the TT offense, I really don't know that they've faced many defenses with the speed of Ole Miss.

CONGRATULATIONS OLE MISS!!!!

What a game! Man, I've never seen a more overrated bunch in my life. I gave Tech WAAAAY too much credit. And, talk about classless. I hope they never win another game. I have a new most-unfavorite team.

It's your kind of poor mouthing the South like that that makes us really want to gag on you, honestly. Yokel U. Right. And Lubbock, TX is Megalopolis. Puh-leese. What's your beef with the SEC, man? You won't play us, and you don't live here, so why does it matter?

I will eat my words and admit that was a good show put on by Ole Miss. I did honestly believe that the Red Raiders offense was near unstoppable but I guessed wrong.

To answer your question, and I'm probably going to get railed on for this, but among us Pac-10 types, the attitudes we get from SEC people are that y'all are God's gift to college football.

I did not pick Ole Miss in the Jude2 BCS simply because Nutt does not do well in Bowl Games. He was like 2 - 7 with Arkansas.

However, GO SEC and CONGRATS to OLE MISS, they killed TT

Hey Teach,
Congats. Nothing like traveling to a bowl game and winning. Makes your ride home not near as long.

teach · Postby **teach** » January 4th, 2009, 12:00 pm

Man, that game was AMAZING!!! I am so glad I got to go! I thought Ole Miss played great and Texas Tech are sore losers!

47 - 34! What a day!!!!
