I've decided that I would like to be the pastor "booster" for the pastoral family...In all seriousness I have always wanted an opportunity to do this in a church. I guess I'll have to wait until I retire but having been a pastor for the last 21 years I think I could organize some good ways to show love/appreciation to the pastor and his family (this includes the kids).
It's harder to kidnap fat people!

LOL There is a lot of truth to that one Paul. I remember having a job working in a paper warehouse back in the 80's. I would rather be in the truck making delivers all day than stuck in the warehouse where all the politics going on..

I run all the sound and PA for our church and organize it for our State Convention (with the tremendous help from rjjunior).

I'd love to work with Billy and learn from him.

Well I like singing, don't want to be a leader though. I would enjoy the chance to sing with Jennifer again. Jennifer, I promise I won't get to loud. So I vote on helping in the music ministry. Wow this sounds like fun.

Greeter

Postby Pastor Gary » January 10th, 2009, 11:49 am

I'll continue to do what I do at Reunion every Sunday... I'll stand outside the entrance and hug as many new-arrivals as possible. I love being the greeter.

And, if I am on the schedule, I'd love to teach now and then.
"God is excited to show you mercy. He rises to give you His compassion." (Isaiah 30:18)

"For surely, O LORD, you bless the righteous;
you surround them with your favor as with a shield." (Psalm 5:12)

There's no adult Sunday School teacher yet. Can I help out there? Actually I prefer the back pew with yellow rose, but I would help wherever I can, especially the grunt work!!!! I also do jail ministry. I would really like to stay in that position. It is a tremendous blessing.

I would be happy to help with refreshments and to cook for church suppers.

Me too! I am willing to help out where ever I'm needed. I've done almost all of it through the years. :)
