Video from our Sunday flag football gatherings

Thought you guys might enjoy a little video from our Sunday flag football gatherings here in Springfield, MO. Myself and a bunch of my friends get together for some rip-snorting flag football and it's always a fun time.

Glad we got video of this one, I was on the winning team for the first time in three weeks. As a quarterback I threw for 505 yards and 5 TD, with no interceptions...the first game I've been pick-free and thrown more than 1 TD. We won 54-34 and it was close with 3 minutes to go, but we had a good play on 3rd and 25 to put us at 48-34. We had an INT to seal the win and invoke the twenty-point, under 2:00 mercy rule.

Is this a league?

No, but we have been getting upwards of 14 people on recent Sundays. This last Sunday we only had ten. Those of us that play are considering joining the local Parks and Rec league on Saturdays.

A local high school is more than friendly to let us use their practice field and we are indebted to them.

It's a blast. We meet every Sunday at 2 PM so folks can go to their places of worship in the morning (if they don't go to church they can sleep in, of course) and then just enjoy some good fun football. It's a blast.
