The anti-pentecostal rant and preterist tyraid aside, you do realize that the temple institute is a Rabbinic Judaic site don't you? It's not a Christian site at all, much less a pentecostal site.

Correction:

1) Anti SUPERSTITIOUS Pentecostal rant.
A rant against the overwhelming tendancy amongst Pentecostals to base fierce beliefs on things other than the Bible. Or upon ONE or TWo Bible passages to the detriment and total erasing of other scriptures which might mitigate their interpretation.

Whether one is an irritated Pentecostal (as I am) or a phlegmatic and flaccid pentecostal, we must come to terms withthe FACT that Pentecostalism churns out a disporportionate amount of idiocy and heresy in relation to the output of other branches of ACCEPTABLE Christianity.

2) It is not Preterist to say there will be no third temple.

5) It may not be a Christian site but I lay money it has Christian backers. Futurists who believe that if they fund and fabricate a New Temple it will
FORCE Jesus to come quicker.

At any rate, presumed Christian backers or not, my implication was that this site was strictly Jewish in orientation and thought -- NOT Christian. So, your criticisms seem misplaced, if not absurd.

That said, I agree with the premise of your criticisms themselves. I only question their application to Rabbinic Judaism.

The way I understand Preterism is that it is the belief that all prophecies in the Bible have been fulfilled.

Obviously, then I am not a Preterist.

If one does not believe the Bible refers to a literal third temple, how then could it be a prophecy fulfilled???

The fascination with a third temple has to be the belief which most undermines the Work Of christL: It assumes his sacrifice is inadequate. It assumes the blood of bulls and goats still has atoning power and as I said to MB, procedes to mend the temple curtain back together.
