Not to speak for Beav, but I would most assuredly include COG and COGOP in that group (at least in the past). We would be WAY better off had that split never happened in 1923. Tomlinson should have taken his medicine and stayed, rather than taking his ball and leaving the playground.

That being said however, COG and COGOP are in a different category that the TCOG splinters are now. For the most part we've patched up our differences and mended fences. The bitterness between the two groups that still existed when I was a kid is now, for the most part, gone.

Interestingly enough, the healing of the wounds between COG and COGOP started soon after "the Concerned" left COGOP.

Coincidence? Perhaps. But I doubt it.

BTW. I'm fine. Resting in bed today. Chiropractor ran neuro tests, (Ha!) checked my vitals and made sure I wasn't injured.

Absolutely no authority...perhaps an observation.

Once upon a time...long, long ago...a good friend asked me a question. "Why are you so mad at God?" I greatly protested and got mad at her. But it turned out to be true. Turns out though that God had big enough shoulders to handle it and loved me anyway. We got it all worked out.

I just thought I recognized some of the symptoms. If I am wrong...please accept my sincerest apologies.

Theocratic government as defined by most of the organizations that are constanly spouting it, generally are the farthest from it. It is used to justify far to much of the fleshly attributes of man. Don't think we have seen it in purety since Moses.

In reading most of the histories of the various groups mentioned on this thread. They site where the other party departed from Theocratic government thereby justifying their own power struggle.
