Ice Hockey Playoffs

Postby Susie Hamilton » April 15th, 2009, 1:15 pm

I'm watching the Philly Flyers play Pittsburgh Penguins. My 2 favorite teams are the Flyers and Detroit Redwings. Anyone else watch ice hockey?

sorry, it is baseball season. That is about the only sport I am watching now. MLB station is now on our cable rotation, so I get a ton of games to choose from, Pro & College.

I would like to see the Caps beat the Rangers. Today the Flyers beat Pitts 6-3. It was a good game.

Flyers lost to Pitt. Caps came back from a 3-1 to win the series. Now, Caps play Pitt. I will enjoy watching O take on the crybaby. But my fav team is Detroit.

I thought it was funny to hear him complain about the hats being thrown on the ice. It would be great if the Caps sweep the Penguins. 8)

I heard on the sports talk radio today that NBC had to make a programming decision for Sunday. NHL playoffs or TPC. they went with golf. Guess they feel more will tune in to watch Tiger.

If I were a network and had to choose between a golf tournament with Tiger and a playoff game of any sport except football, I would choose the golf tourney. If it were a golf tournament without Tiger, then I would go with the playoff game. I think right now Tiger is the biggest draw out of any sport.

Gutted, did not watch any of really. I started to listen on the radio, and it became 2-0 Penguins quickly. I had a student come to class, so I taught. After class I looked at the score and the Penguins were winning 6-2. So, I did not even watch it. Just went on to do other things.

I am now probably out of Hockey :(
