Southern Mississippi will be one of the teams vying for a national championship next week in Omaha, Nebraska. One of the USM coaches, Richy Harrelson, visited my home once when we were in our teens. It's a small world after all.

I've watched a few of their games this year during the playoffs. Talented team indeed.

They lost a squeeker to Texas yesterday. Good game. Now they have to face UNC in an elimination game.

I am just glad that ASU is still in it as well as Cal St Fullerton who seems to always be there. ASU going up against Texas Tuesday in what should be one of the best games of the series.

Well, the finals have been set. LSU vs Texas. I was really hoping ASU could have put up a better stand agains the Texas. I have a feeling the Longhorns will prevail.

I have totally enjoyed watching the games on ESPN2 this year. They have done a good job with their broadcasts.
