This is a picture of my soon to be bride and me taken at the COGOP State Convention being held in an open air tabernacle in Stanton, KY. Written on the back was,
"July 11, 1959...One week before the wedding"

I loved her very much!!! I didn't realize you all got married 5 months before Mom and Dad. They married on Dec. 12th, 1959. I miss them very much!

Not Jinjer, but I was a huge fan of Geneva and Joyce Clark. They traveled and ministered in Indiana when I was a teen there, and worked in our youth camp. Thanks for this photo. Brings back a lot of memories.

Boy does the clothing bring back memories..and the pill box hat she wore. Jackie Kennedy made that popular.
That was a beautiful wedding gown.
My hubby and I have been married 52 years..Praise God!!
So I'm from the 50's era also. Thought I was the oldest on the board. Well, maybe I still am. :lol:
