LaGarrette Blount

Did anyone catch this? Oregon's Blount sucker punching Boise St's Byron Hout after BSU beat the ducks?

I was pleasantly suprised with the outcome of the game. I was hoping the ducks would fall. However, I was not expecting to see their #1 running back sink to such a level. I am wondering what the Pac-10 will do, if anything?

I am glad that College football is back in the swing of things!

Paully,

I seen this on ESPN. If Blount had only hit the kid he would have probably been suspended for a couple of games. However, after he went Ron Artest on them Oregon was left with no option in my opinion. I think since OU has suspended him for the year, the PAC-10 will do nothing. Also, Boise suspended the kid that was hit for 2 games.

I was pulling for Oregon, because I don't like the BCS busters, like Boise, Utah or whomever.

Just my $.02

Rob

But YES I'M READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL!!

Do you consider them BCS busters because they generally have undefeated records but their strength of schedule is not like the SEC or BIG 12?

I'm glad the thug was suspended for the season. If he has any plans of going to the NFL he'd better get his act together now.

Is there any other reason?

You are a better man that I. The only time I would pull for the ducks is if they were playing notre lame, which I despise.

Speaking of the tarnished domes.... talk about strength of schedule starting their season off with the always tough, always contending for the National Championship....Nevada?

Looks like BYU busted the BCS in week 1 with a 14-13 victory over #3 Oklahoma! :D

Where did you get your information? The following is a quote from Coach Chris Peterson with qualifiers.

"There will be disciplinary consequences for Bryon as a result of the incident last night and they will be handled internally." Petersen also stated that Hout's discipline does not include a game suspension.
