I agree...why can't people work together...there is a larger issue with my question...why are people stubborn...why do they not participate....why do they insist on having control while not contributing at all....anyways...life goes on...

How long would you enforce such a document? Forever? Does this not seem absolutely ridiculous as it relates to the Great Commission?

Remember what you extend will be returned to you.

when taking into account how the new testament church works we see it this way. if the church sends someone out and it seems good to those involved and the Holy Ghost then its a church plant. if someone goes out on their own without the blessing of the local church then thats not a church plant.

I wonder if Paul got permission from the local Rabbi to plant churches.
While I believe that people need to be releases by the local church Acts 13 Paul and Barnabas. I also believe that God and not man calls a person into Pastoral Ministry Eph 4. If God so directs a man to plant a church, irrespective of its location, that man better do what God says and not the dictates of man or a congregation.

Now any smart man will not buld a foundation on people who have left a church in strife, jealousy, rebellion. That is toxic and if the foundation is built on that the poison gas will continue to seep up and kill every living thing in that church.

Nor should a man build a foundation of a church on the desires of friends' family, and well wishers. But all that said. If God tells him to do so...He need Obey God and not man.
You cannot effectively love and minister to others when you are obsessed with protecting
and preserving yourself.

Just heard Andy Stanley talk about people walking in their ministry (whatever that is)...He told his congregation that would mean that some fo them would have to leave his church to fulfill that calling.

It happens and if God is in it then it will be blessed...The proof is in the pudding as they say.

i agree with some of this. man should obey God. let me say this as well, God does not divide!!! simply put, men do. God multiplies. And yes, in chapter 15 of acts the church sent paul forth with their blessing. that was the guidelines. and it was good with them and the Holy Ghost. thats how church plants are suppose to take place. that is not how most church plants happen in the united states. that is sad!! BUILD the church God planted you in and stop trying to do your own thing. i want to scream it from the roof tops!!! understand Paul, this is a wide view and is not directed to you or anyone else individualy. you notice when Paul went out after that he went around building up the churchs that were in operation.
