It's a rare treat to get free holiday music in time to actually enjoy for the holidays, but Apple is offering just such a treat in order to let users experience the wonder of their iTunes LP concept. In addition to the the music, iTunes LP includes song lyrics, artist photos and brief artist bio stuff. In this case lyrics can be played along with the songs as animated snow falls all around in full screen mode.
The freebie will last for just one week so don't sit on the lag wagon or you'll miss out. The 20-song Holiday collection includes a mishmash of artists featuring Stephen Colbert singing "Another Christmas Song", Weezer, Charlotte Church and Sarah McLachlan doing "Silent Night".
