Saw him preach in person at a tent revival that Pat Robertson has at his place in VA Beach...Didn't always agree with him but wanted to see him in person before he passed (that was at least 8 years ago)...The Bible knowledge he expounded was awesome...No wacky WoF stuff just pure Bible teaching.

I did not know Elwood Matthews but have heard many good things about him. They say he was a comedian. Therefore I thought that God played a joke on him by taking Oral Roberts the same day Elwood passed. I'm sure there was a time (back in his exclusive minded days) that Elwood probably thought Oral would never make it but then on the same day.

Just a thought. :lol:

They both lived a very long life which is a blessing and a reward.. but now they have their eternal reward.

Seeing as how I know I'm gonna be in great need of mercy the day I'll stand before God, I pray Oral finds at least as much mercy at the Hands of God as I'll need.
