Postby macgulley » December 17th, 2009, 4:20 am

This commercial reminded me of a recent thread on Jude2 about man purses.

Whatever

Postby Pastor Gary » December 17th, 2009, 7:53 am

I carry one. Got tired of back aches from sitting on a lump of wallet, asking my wife to carry stuff in her purse, and the like. I keep my keys, iPhone, travel wallet, gum, mints, earbuds, pen, coins and junk with me without bulging pockets.

I couldn't care less what anyone else thinks.

I am a 59 year old Vietnam vet, married 37-1/2 years, raised 2 great kids and completely secure in my self-image AND my manhood. We reach a place where we prefer function and convenience to the approval of strangers.

Some people can pull that look off. I can't.

I just don't like lugging a lot of stuff around...so I carry as little as possible....but my coat pockets are normally stuffed with "stuff."
There is a ROCK between me and a hard place. His name is JESUS.

I, too, have a backpack I use to lug around my gear, but I have never referred to it as a "man purse." :D 8)
Blessings,

I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me (Galatians 2:20).

It doesn't matter what they do, what they think, what they say
At the end of the day, I'm okay, anyway!
