Really? Ask your people in your Church if this is so. You might be talking about some of your members. Ask them if they think the Tea Party crowd is looking out for our grandchildren or just blow hard crazies.

It's these common sense ADULTS that have seen the decline and can quickly recognize the irresponsible policies that got us here.

i did not say that everyone are blow hards and crazies. i said that they (the tea party) is coming across like that. and they are. hey tea party people, stop craying. you sound like tim teboob. if you supported bush you supported our country being in debt and placing big wigs and fat cats in charge instead of those that you say make up the tea party crowd. if you hate obama go to the polls and vote next time and stop you whining.

Good to see most of your Church members corrected you.

And Obama isn't a big wig or fat cat ( while his REAL brother lives in a HUT? ) Ted Kennedy ( RIP ), Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, Hillary Clinton... etc. SPENDING OUR GRANDKIDS into oblivion? Have you kept your eyes closed to the sheer amounts of cash they spending? ( Referring to Chart Above again )

It always blows me away that you fail to hold Govt as responsible as you do business. It's these God fearing, no abortion supporting, hard working American's that DO see the radical difference and desire to hold ALL accountable. It isn't a Democrat vs Republican thing... it's a Right vs Wrong thing.

Finally some Adults are waking up.

i know that obama is running us more and more in debt. i am not a supporter of obama. the point is bush was spending like a drunken sailor before obama was ever heard of. its not just obamas fault. the issue is when you want change you do it the right way. thats not taking to the streets and acting like hippies in sixties because we are not getting our way. when we do that we are written off as idiots. the tea party crowd did that from the start. and now they are looked on as idiots.

So the orchestrator of the famous Boston Tea Party were what? what did you call them? did they not bring about change?

Is John Kerry the same for running off at the mouth about his actions in Vietnam? :P

its silly to compare the Boston tea party to the the party of today. make your signs and write your chants and when the election comes up dont forget to vote. voting will help more than spiting in the wind.

 I was one of those "hippies in the sixties". I protested the Nam War, and later joined the Navy. I protested Johnson and if I would've been old enough would have voted for McCarthy. The "hippies" helped change the way we look at things nowadays. Before the sixties people thought the Government was perfect. The "hippies" changed that way of thinking. Today people are back to thinking the Government has ALL the answers and they should "spread the wealth". This country was founded on rebellion against Government(England). In this day and time it's a "media driven" world. The "Tea Party" knows that if they are seen enough that "rebellion" will follow. Sure I believe in voting out bad politicians but what are we to do once they get elected, live with it for the next 4 years? You might but I don't. I raise a stink so that if things don't change or they get worse by the time of the next election there will be ENOUGH people to vote the bad politicians out. Sorry I ain't a lemming.

Why is it silly/ The Boston tea partiers dressed like native Americans. How "silly" was that?

The Tea Party, not covered by the proxy media, is a grassroots campaign that will bring forth some great leaders that otherwise would have never came to the forefront. It is by far not silly.

By and large those that make up the tea parties do vote but are now forging together and demanding quality, conservative candidates and are refusing to accept the lesser of two evils.

And how long would Nam have lasted if we hadn't protested? What else is the White House gonna ram down our throats if we don't protest NOW? FYI I'm one of those Independents that BOTH parties want on their side. Since turning 18 back in 73 I have NEVER voted along PARTY lines. What Congress and Obama are trying to do is WRONG and as a Veteren who proudly served my Country to defend it's freedoms and Constitution I have the RIGHT to protest against this "primrose path" that we are headed down. One of the things that my dad taught his sons when we were growing up was "Think your own thoughts and do your own thing, don't follow the crowd for the sake of following the crowd. Do what you believe to be right." And I agree with you on the current Democratic Party. :)

Absolutely! They sure messed up some nice cars back then... and not to mention free love and sexual revolution.

During the last Tea Party I attended.. I had to stop Grandpa from destroying public property with his SUV and get Grandma to put her burning bra back on while racing wildly on a Lunesta high thru the crowd in her mobility chair.

All the drugs that were being passed around... lipitor, boniva, nexum, advil, propecia and dare I mention viagra for those all night free love camp outs!

They were chanting... accountability, leadership, christian values, protecting the innocent, lower taxes, integrity etc. etc...

You're absolutely right. Just like 'em...

Dawgs I seriously doubt that you are old enough to remember the sixties, or at least much of them. So until you can speak with some authority on the subject, DON'T. The concept that you have of the hippies is the prototypical, stereotypical image that the media has chosen to put forward. The truth is that the "hippie culture" was far more complex than a bunch of unwashed, long haired stoners walking around in a drug induced daze. Within it there was a wide spectrum of political beliefs and alignments, as well as economic conditions. The one common thread that spanned the culture was the knowledge that the government had inserted itself into areas of our lives where it had no business. I know, I lived it.

Now as far as being a liberal, I don't think that term can be applied to my political views. Reactionary? Possibly, but not liberal. And being a draft dodger? I was drafted and did two tours in Viet Nam. What did you do in the service? Law breaking? Well you got me there, some laws need to be broken. Drug using? I'll admit to that, but how many of the members of this board also indulged at some point? An idiot? Not with an IQ that puts me in the top 2%. Democrat? That doesn't even deserve an answer.

sir, serving two tours in viet nam separates you from those that i am talking about. you know the kind of people i am talking about. and if your iq is as high you say, i would ask you to use a little common sense with this one. high iq placement does not remove someone from the idiot title that many have earned. the republican party lost. they did not vote for the candidate and now they are crying about it. get over it and get behind a candidate that can win an election next time. (common sense).

So dawgs are you saying we should just sit on our hands until the next election? I think that's what the German people did back in 1936 and look what happened in that page of history. I'm not crying about the Republicans winning or losing. I'm "raising cain" about the path that this country is going down. The way to get people to rally to a candidate(for the next election)is to "raise cain" NOW so that people will know WHO to rally around at the next election. THAT'S COMMON SENSE!
