PSP Repair Center

Postby Billy n NC » December 28th, 2009, 7:58 am

Do you guys know of a affordable reliable repair center for
PSP.

My gson had one he had gotten for his Bday. His MOM/Santa had purchased several new/used games for it for christmas but a few days before christmas it stopped reading game cards.

It still turns on. wifi etc plays games that have been downloaded etc. but will not play cartridges..

What say you big time gamers??

Here's a site to help trouble shoot.

http://www.llamma.com/PSP/repair/PSP_UM ... _Discs.htm

It maybe just simple as dust on the gears, or maybe not.

Not sure if it works now, I remember the old Nintendo cartridges you need to blow into the cartridge connectors in the game to get them to work.

blowing on those little "dvd's", would probably make it worse, depending on how humid your breath is. :)

Thanks for the url to the article.

showed it to my daughter.

too late.

a (brother n law) had tried taking it apart and well
now it does nothing. Might be the leftover parts on the table.

:(

I will try to keep a lookout for used PSP on Craigs list etc
