Ok, I've done this a few times and had some fairly good results.

Go to the friends tab and then to find friends. Once there scroll down to where you can enter a friends name. Don't do the email or high school thing.

Ok now enter a name of someone you know, a friend, coworker, classmate, etc. but who is not currently on your friend's list. Now obviously several people with that name should pop up but the game is to see how many friends in common you have with the people that pop up. I'm now talking about people that have a name in common with a friend or classmate of yours but that you don't know personally.

Does this make sense?

For example if I type in Kevin Simms, a friend of mine that happens to not be on FB. 116 people with this or a similar name appear. Do any of them have friends in common with me? Well this example no but often I find that the reverse is true.
