This is precisely why we need Libertarians in office. For all their warts and whackos, they support the freedom of people as against the government.

I can work with them until the try to legalize drugs, prostitution, and other common sense issues.

Did they "fail" to register their kids or did they REFUSE to register their kids?

MacUser,

If you had to choose between poisons, would you take the big government poison that Republicans give us now, or would you take the poison of dumb people being free to do horrible things to themselves that a Libertarian government would bring? I humbly submit to you that the latter is far preferable to the former, and that it is better to see ruin against a backdrop of freedom than it is to see freedom ruined against a backdrop of "government protection". I'd take the second poison because while sin makes sick, liberty gives the greater room for people of faith to do what we're called to do. The cure is within better reach, IMO.

I do understand your point and it well taken with me, but boy if I could make that trade today with you, I'd yank your arm out of socket to get it done.

Like I said.. I can work with them UNTIL they refuse COMMON SENSE issues. We really don't have to go into these.. as you stated you clearly understand my point.

We can do it with responsible adults.

Yep, those are some dangerous people there. We'll all sleep better at night with them off the streets.

Another example of our Big Brother taking care to manage every single teeny weeny detail of our lives. Land of the Free. That's us!
