My world is just way more complex than yours.

Response: I think that's a bit of drama.

Sorry... it wasn't meant to be.

scooter wrote:If you had posted a post about ministering to transgendered people without linking it to a scripture blessing eunuchs there may have been a more clear understanding of your position. However, since people use such scriptures to condone continued perversions, responses were somewhat reasonable.

I find that interesting. I thought our years of interactions here had earned me a bit more benefit-of-the-doubt than to imagine that I was promoting the condoning of sin, but, okay.

scooter wrote:We minister to homosexuals, have some that come to church and participate in homeless ministry. We minister to the abused children, spouses, drug addicts, the over medicated, under medicated   and any type of sinner that the Lord might send.

It's a false impression that no one else really is involved in real ministry.

You have picked up a dog by the ears, Scooter. I wasn't talking about you. I was referring to those who responded with simplistic answers.

Again, I assumed too much; I assumed my record spoke for itself.
"God is excited to show you mercy. He rises to give you His compassion." (Isaiah 30:18)

"For surely, O LORD, you bless the righteous;
you surround them with your favor as with a shield." (Psalm 5:12)

Response: Sure it has. I hope. However many people even in ministry define "sin" differently.

Where you might think I hold to a conservative line in that area, I might think you have a more liberal view.

That difference could hold points worth discussing, or we could just long for a different world. 8)

No sour apples here just looking for clarification.

I really didn't take it or mean it "personally".

It was just how it looked on the surface.

My fault, forgive the assumption.
What we need here is a good revival! lol

I am against sin. I am not against sinners.

Response: Sure. Sit under any great gospel teachings from any transgendered individuals lately?

How to handle such would be a great discussion.

Maybe the Holy Ghost has revealed that that's ok dbserv too.

Oh praise God walls are coming down all over. 8) jk

Response: Maybe I pay too much attention. Here we are chiming in on a post about our worlds being complex with issues, which is spawned by a post linking cross dressing and homosexuality to eunuchs and service in church.

You figure in how many different things you are now enlightened to.

It's not going to be long until the perversions of transgendered individuals is numbered among those issues which the liberal counts as just another sin among the many. I'm sure it has already been celebrated in some "christ" based metrosexual "ministry".

What is an onlooker expected to carry away?

I know, I know you didn't mean it that way.

Just mentioning how it could and does look for someone paying too much attention and what type of impression is given.
