I know, I'm hitting hot spots right off, right!?!? First fornication, now modesty. What am I thinking ??? :P

I trust it will be enlightening, or at least impassioning (one way or another). Join us tonight (in about 15 actually) for the live broadcast. We'd be honored!

I caught a little of it last night, I liked the presentation.

What software you use to switch from the camera view to screen capture for the verses you read? How much time does it take to set up a broadcast.

Is there any cost in recording the broadcast and putting it on Ustream?

I like to think it is pretty doggone industrious of a guy who is having health issues like you, Poimen, to set up something like this and go after it. Here's a fellow who tries to answer the call where he can and how he can. Pretty smart effort, if you ask me.

Despite the more overt (IMO) sacrilege near the end, I must admit the first 3/4ths or so of that clip had me busting my sides.

Thanks MoleJ! Glad you joined in.

Okay, as for what it takes to do it, well it's a fairly complicated list and tech savy-ness is a real plus. You ready?

You need a web cam/mic
You need a free account with livestream (premium service is available).
Plus, you need to be good looking and have an announcers voice.

Seriously, a decent web cam and mic is all you need (assuming you already have a website). Livestream comes with a neat downloadable service called pro caster (that's what I use), but they also have a online studio you can broadcast/record from.

Their software is designed to allow the switch mode (camera view to screen shot), the combined 2d mode (camera corner with screen shot in background) or a combined 3d mode too. It's really cool.

Your free account gets you a channel on their site as well. So, even if you don't have a website, you can probably just direct people to your channel. We love their service and we prefer to any others we've seen or researched.

I'm not sure about the time setting up to broadcast. Do you mean time preparing/prepping content or the time to actually set-up the cam and service to broadcast?

Thanks bro! As usual, you've seen my heart clearly.

BTW, though my condition persists, my health is MUCH much better. The really bad spell that led me to resigning the pastorate turned out to be from the meds I was taken. Once I got off them and got it out of my system I have been much better. Like I said, I still have the condition (and the effects f dealing it with for a number of years now, especially before it was reasonably under control), but quality if life is much better.

Pray for me as I try to purpose my heart, mind, and energy towards losing weight, much of which has been gained as a result (directly or indirectly) of the effects (physical and psychological) of this condition.

Anyhow, like Pail said "Woe is me if I preach not the gospel."

P.S. You've got a PM in your inbox.

Thanks, for the information.

I was thinking this could be something I could use for training on marketing. I do have a web cam on my laptop. I bought a mic for doing videos, because the mic in my laptop is terrible.

I may have to test it out soon and see how it goes.

Absolutely. My wife Tammy uses it to teach her wordpress development classes. I mentioned that because the nature of your presentations (professional) and the functionality needed are so similar.

Quicky question -- My Samsung Mini DV (tape) camera has no firewire cord, and my new Toshiba laptop has no firewire port. So, I can either buy a new camera (which one?) or get an external firewire card for the laptop? Any suggestions?

I suggest just buying a new web cam; preferably the Logitech quickcam pro 9000.

It should cost you some where between $70.00 and $100.00 bucks, but it's the #1 rated webcam on C-net.

Well, that's reasonable. Hmm. Thanks.
