This is only the beginning and will increase dramatically under Obama-care.


All you have to do is look at the CA Worker's Comp history for the past 25 years to see what will happen with healthcare. But, I think the timetable will be accelerated so much that it won't even take 5 years for the nation's health care system to get to where CA's W.C. is today.


Two of the Mayo Clinic facilities (not the one in MN) have stopped accepting Medicare/Medicaid/Medical patients. That step was taken several months ago. One of them is here in CA, apparently.


My Dr. and his partners "will have to consider the same stand if Obama-care passes."



CA W.C. tells you what treatment(s) they will pay for, regardless what my Dr. feels I need or recommends. They have a panel of "Reviewers" who decide IF the Dr.'s treatments are necessary and whether they will pay for them. My Dr. and I have had to appeal 6 of their decisions in the past 2 years. We have won 2 and lost 4 of the appeals (to other "Reviewers").

My Dr. says he can't afford to deal with a system that requires appeal after appeal of his decisions and which rejects so many of his decisions as to his patients treatments.


His staff is trying their best to push me away and force me to get a Dr. where we live now. He has been my Dr. since 1980 and we live 2 1/2 hours from there now. I get hassled when I make appts. I get hassled when I try to reach him. I get NO cooperation from the staff when I need forms filled out - he and I now fill out the forms during my appt. and I go into town, make a copy, and drop it off with the office staff before I leave town. His nurse is also his wife and she is leading the pack to get me off his patient list.

He gets so frustrated, but there are 5 partners and they all agree with his "nurse" and the staff. So, he fights for me to stay as his patient because of my W.C. treatment.


So, look out America. You asked for "change", you deserve the "change" that you get!!! Oh wait, it's not America, it's a bunch of politicians who were elected to "represent" but who choose (well, several of them are choosing) to "vote for this bill regardless what my constituents want me to do".

Well, "we" made the mistake of electing these self-righteous pompous idiots and re-electing them for so many years that they think they own the position they were elected to.
