I really like the logos app:
http://www.logos.com/ipad

if I didn't already have over 4000 resources in logos, my second choice is the olivetree Bible Reader:
http://www.olivetree.com/
A tremendousn number of free resources, and many more that are very inexpensive, if you use them.

I have them both. but the olive tree Bible Reader is nice to have since I bought some resources for when I had a palm OS PDA, then transferred to BB, then iphone. I like the highlight feature in the BR program.

But as mentioned, my main one is the logos app. it allows be to search, read and study my entire library, even if they aren't local! though does let you downoad resources locally as well.

here's the blog for (iphone) 1.3. 1.4 was just released today, so there will probably be more about it soon: http://blog.logos.com/archives/2010/03/ ... eased.html

You are exactly right... as I was originally mistaken!

I too use the OliveTree version on my iPhone as my major Bible Application.

hehhehe - was trying to figure out how much space mine took. still can't do it. (stupid mac/non-user interface to the OS structure) but I did find out I have 32 Bibles (including Greek, Hebrew, Latin), 3 commentaries, a devotional, 3 dictionaries, 25 ebooks, 6 books for publisher notes, 1 Bible Maps; for a total of 70 resources in BR.

which of course made my OCD kicked in; 61 other ebooks that I knew I had, but forgot that I had my Kindle software loaded now, including (currently only) 36 more works, for an additional total of 131 ebooks between 4 separate iPhone apps.

so, including the 4128 resources in Logos, that brings the grand total to 4259 separate "books" on my iPhone. hmmm.... interesting.

You know your salvation isn't based on how many books you have read on your iPhone right?

salvation, no. :)

sanity? yes, becuase I have a need to know the number. has little to do with the content. though I obviously have desire for the content or they wouldn't be there. :)

by the way, I saw 18 cars, 3 pickups (no SUV's) and 4 semi-trucks on the road, on the way to work this morning.

well, my OCD isn't that bad. I am satisfied with "bajillions" in that case.
