Well Nancy Pelosis is now in churches telling them that biblically they need to support their agenda

dawgs lets say there is a company like the one I work for. Lets say they do 50 plus million a year (just throwing a number out there if you want to say 1billion if that makes it easier to talk about that is fine as well)
When some of these companies rates go up so high that they are forced to make one of these options which is the right thing to do, since you were in business so long I would love to hear your answer.

Now this is not a option but either they make a change or go under.

1. keep coverage and have a major lay off
2. pay the fine and not lay off anyone
3. cut salaries on everyone top to bottom.

You can spin this but our company has already cut salaries for all employess (including the owner, vice president as well) that are not on commission like me. In other words everyone at our Norfolk va, Roanoke va, Richmond va, Charleston sc., raliegh nc. have all taken a pay cut. From the guy that runs fork lifts to alll customer service, buyers etc.
They payy health coverage for the entire company now, if they cut salaries based on the economy already what do you think will happen when this plan takes place?

my answer is to pull from the public market. this will get rid of stock holders that expect unreal profit margins. now, most companies are very top heavy therefore start at the top. do you need every position above those doing the real work. no. cut em. then keep insur. plans and stand by your workers.

Are you talking about Govt? They are bleeding money, bloated, backroom deals, nobody doing any real work.. except for the few real workers. Can we go after that upper group as well? Slice ineffective programs and the ones that we can't afford? Or do we borrow against our great grand children to support our ineffective Govt? How come we see private business to be run different than Local, State and Federal Govt?

you never answered my question? in our company in five states the only top person is the owner... a vice president that makes maybe 100k....that wouldn't save anything... so what do we do?
lay off
cut salaries
or pay fine?

Based on your post the owner gets laid off and we are all fired

Great. Then we should also agree... that we have to demand the Govt run effectively what they already have control over before we allow them any more right?

Kinda like removing the beam from your own eye first etc. Effectively managing the talents you have etc. When you prove that you have this ability... then more could be added to you. But if you are failing.. then remove it away.. not expand it. eh?

ok one love. cut salaries midlevel up first of course. what other answer would expect. look, you know what i am talking about. the companies that have many, many, levels or (to many chiefs, not enough indians). the at&t of the world. the companies listed in the first message on this thread. anyone can come up with a company that is running lean and say its not fair, boo, hoo. its not been fair for years with the working single mom not being offered insureance while the ceo and his buddies go on weekend getaways payed for by the company. do you pretend like that dont happen. come on, you know what i am talking about.

if it's such a great thing, then why isn't it applied to those that made it.

again they have all taken a pay cut already due to the economy and still have good insurance. your idea is to break them to do what the gov. wants which would result in them losing coverage and taking another pay cut..

Your post is against freedom and you dont realize it. You are actually saying what business owners can or cant do because of their success and the lack of success of someone else.....
I know a family that is very LOW income and they are insured through medicaid, whole family and they get $500 a month in grocery money through food stamps......... so dont act as if there is not already a hundred other programs for these people. BTW my sister is a single mom as well with 2 kids and she qualifies for all these benefits as well????? so why should we steal money from companies that create jobs and that actually build the economy? whether or not if they fly in jets or not...

Dawgs, I hate to be the one that informs you, your grade school teachers should have, but a bill from Congress including the healthcare bill does not equate to Constitutional rights.
