Springfield MO Churches

Postby Pastor Gary » July 4th, 2010, 2:57 pm

I have a couple from my church relocating to the Speingfield MO area in August. They are looking for a church and prefer not a megachurch. The guy is quite talented with the tech, video, and is a certified Apple technician. They have one toddler and another on the way.

If there's a good COGOP there, even better.

Overseer John Pace pastors the church there. It is not a mega church. I know he would welcome them. I am 1 1/2 hours west in Kansas unfortunately so that's too far to drive. Bro. Pace is super. I think they would really like the congregation by the people I've met that go there.

Hey, Phil.

Is there only ONE AoG in Springfield? Isn't their HQ located there?

If so, it seems that they should have about a dozen congregations there. That seems to be the ex. that other denoms have set for HQ communities? :?

Hope things are going well with you.

My wife & I did a weekend Youth event there about 5-7 years ago. Bro Pace's church is called Crimson House, I believe. The building is older, but had a great atmosphere.
Let the wild rumpus start!

I have preached at Crimson House. Brother Pace has a nice work going there. I recommend. :)

Thanks to all who suggested Crimson House. I have been in touch with Pastor Pace, connected him with the couple moving there, and will leave it in their hands from here. I like what he's doing there a lot, and think it would be a comfortable transition for folks from my church.
