My friend, Jerry, needs a kidney transplant...

Postby Phil Hoover » August 1st, 2010, 3:26 pm

Jerry is a school teacher (a former pastor) living in Florida. He is in desperate need of a kidney transplant. He is registered with a hospital in the Miami area, and will be registering with the University of Alabama-Birmingham hospital this week.

WE KNOW THAT GOD can touch someone to be a living donor for this fine man. Both of his parents are in full time ministry, and this situation has become rather desperate.

He is using home dialysis right now....but we are trusting God to perform another miracle for HIS GLORY.

Jerry is a Blood type B.

All of the medical expenses of the donor are paid, (testing, surgery, hospital stay, follow-up, etc). If money is a problem for the donor, the National Kidney Foundation has several resources that are available.

Most states have laws requiring employers to give "living donors" paid time off (totally separate from their Sick and Vacation time) after their surgeries. This varies by state.

I know the brothers and sisters of JUDE2 will join me in praying that God will touch someone to give this wonderful brother in Christ a kidney...

He only needs one...and God knows where that kidney is...

Please pray...

If you have any ideas or want to contact me, please feel free to do so.
