A Heaven's Saint brother and friend passed over night

Postby Shellie » August 15th, 2010, 1:40 am

Two of our friends and fellow HS's were involved in a motorcycle accident yesterday when a truck pulled directly out in front of them and both bikes broadsided the truck. Lamar is home with stitches and road rash.

T.T. Odom was airlifted to trauma and did not make it through the night.

Please pray for his wife Tammy and family.

And, please, please, please watch for motorcycles when you drive. I'm fighting such raw anger against the driver of the truck.

Yes, I agree with you, and understand your feelings.
There was a guy killed in NC this weekend when a car pulled out in front of him. Being a responible driver requires you to look both ways twice before pulling out at an intercection, and making sure you have enough time to safely proceed.
When I ride, I keep my headlights on bright, and let the loud pipes roar. Our prayers are with the family.

Praying for the family and friends.

Not paying attention on the road is very dangerous. I've told my little girl, "A car can be more dangerous than a loaded gun." We don't put CD players and DVD players and cup-holders on our guns. That'd be absurd. But, we do allow all those things and so many more to distract us while driving. God help us all to be safer drivers, more attentive to what's around us, for the sake of many.
