I just had one of those special times driving down the road listening to the Christmas musical that'll be performed at our church this December. I've never listened to a musical start to finish before (at least not one that I was not part of a choir or narrating or what have you). This one was really well done and just moved my heart. My daughter has a little solo in one song.
Speaking of family pride, my niece, a senior at her school, is one of the attendants for homecoming which is tonight. We just left the afternoon pep rally and lead out. for homecoming queen, and I'm just very, very proud of the young lady she is. Needless to say, my brother and his wife are just a little proud, too.
She is headed to the University of Alabama next fall. She wants to go to pharmacy school.
