Aparently you have an example or a situation that prompted your comment.

But none the less, it never pays to look down on anyone. Besides that I am reminded of the old adage of walking in some one elses shoes. " Their is good pratical sense for that also: So if you critize and offend, you are at least a mile away and he ain't got no shoes.
You cannot effectively love and minister to others when you are obsessed with protecting
and preserving yourself.

I look down my nose daily....it's the only way I can match my shoes.

Paul,
the problem is that many of those that do this, don't even realize it. they think it's perfectly acceptable and appropriate.

Dare I say that we are all there from time to time? my prayer is that we all see it, and are convicted of it sooner rather than later, and that the hard hearts are softened.

A question for those who look down their noses ...... isn't it easier than looking up your nose?? Eh? Am I right or am I right?

And, what's the deal with this Barack Obama? Huh? Am I right or am I right?

I try not to look down my nose too often.. I end up going cross-eyed.

Yeah, but someone has to do it. That's why God created you and me. :)
