Do you mean expecting a remarried person to destroy ANOTHER marriage and family to return to the first spouse?
"God is excited to show you mercy. He rises to give you His compassion." (Isaiah 30:18)

"For surely, O LORD, you bless the righteous;
you surround them with your favor as with a shield." (Psalm 5:12)

Okay, its been boring around here for a while so I'll bite.

Or is the correct interpretation of Jesus' teaching that you are not destroying another marriage but a person is ending their affair to honor their marriage.

Is it? That is certainly one of several theological positions all claiming to be squarely based upon scripture.

Pastor Gary, NO!

That neither divorce nor homosexuality are right before God. Now that you ask, I believe that Christ would require as much out of a remarried person that He would any other sin. A murder can't undo a murder, but he can keep from doing it again. You already knew that didn't you.
God Bless
