Mini projector recommendations?

My wife just started teaching the teenage SS class at church. "These kids are technological. Writing on paper and blinking at me is not going to cut it." As a starting point, she wants a mini projector at, of course, the best price possible. It needs to interface with a laptop, something I am seeing is not always do-able.

Recommendations? Suggestions?

the pocket sized ones are great - but are not very powerful. you will probably need to turn off the lights. (been through a couple of them)

getting a smaller, regular projector may be a better option.
