Injury

Hey everyone,

I fell around 15 or 20 feet down an embankment at the church on Saturday and either sprained or fractured my left ankle. I am also stove up and sore in several places. It appears that I will be on crutches for several weeks.

Please pray for me.

Ugh! Hope you get to healing quickly.....and quit shoutin' that close to enbankments! :wink:

I'm praying, too, Ritchie. Very sorry about your mishap. Lord, heal my brother and friend. Evidently, He thought you needed to sit down a spell. ;) If I can do anything, holler.

Must've been a pride thing. (Goeth before a fall ....... no? Doesn't work? Okay. Bible humor almost never does. :) )

I went to the Orthopedic yesterday and he diagnosed the situation as a severe sprain in an awkward part of the foot. He put me in a cast boot for three weeks at which time he will reevaluate. Until then, I feel like I'm walking on crutches while lugging a ball and chain on my foot. :? :)

Saturday was two weeks since my fall. Today the foot is still painful and ginger for anything other than extremely light pressure. Due to fears of further injury, I'm trying to wear my boot and stay off the ankle as this is a serious injury. Please keep praying as I return to the doctor in around 10 days.
