I had my follow-up appointment at the sleep clinic today. Great report! When they did the initial study two months ago before I was discharged from the hospital I stopped breathing 21 times in a 4 hour span. When they read the data from my BIPAP machine today it indicated that now I stop breathing once a night on the average. The Doctors and I am very happy with that result, plus they have lowered the supplemental oxygen level that I use with the machine from 4.5 liters per minute too 3.5 lpm. Progress is slow, but it is happening. The results will be sent to my Primary Care and Pulmonary doctors. So I expect that some more changes in my treatment will be forthcoming. Thanks again to all that offered up prayers on my behalf.
