A great toy and wonderful tool. Load it with Dropbox and access all your files.

Ok. I have this thing now and I am told that it is very useful as a tool for lots of different things. I am excited about interfacing with Keynote or Pro Presenter on our Friday night Radical U services. I have used paper notes so far in doing the bible lesson part. I'm told that this iPad will let me run our Mac based multimedia stuff for that. Another person says it will change my life. That is a stretch. 8) But all tips from folks here are welcome and requested.

Hey cool, you will enjoy it.

You will notice how easy it is to use.
You will slowly begin to use it for all the things you can.
You will rarely return to your pc only to do mundane tasks
You will begin to invest in cool apps that increase workflow

But remember it's only an iPad. I have 3.. Lol.

I really need to learn what apps are around that will help me. A top 10 list of non game apps would be helpful!

I got an Ipod2 for free. I haven't seen it since it hit my house and my two remaining teenagers squealed with delight.............

Hit the App store and start downloading. They have tons of lists and such as you look around.

I used drop box recently as a rep and it was awesome . I am now going to use it in a very similar fashion. For instance when I traveled store to store (or the 100 calls a day for pricing) every manufacture was in drop box and the profit margins for each one.
Plus they had it networked from our home office so if all specials immediately went in drop box.
I have changed back to the retail/ manager side now and want to do the sMe thing .
I use it on my iPhone.

I really like Flipboard. I haven't done Dropbox, although I think I downloaded it onto my laptop but never did anything with it. Now, I'm wondering whether Dropbox or Google Docs is better. Any advice? I will probably go ahead and download the Pages app, too.

Alot of our cell techs are starting to switch to them, so we are starting to support the end users more. Great incentive for the company to give us IT folks iPads. I use my for both work and fun.

I wish Flash would work on them.
Let the wild rumpus start!
