TOMS arrives in the Philippines

Our Son Joel has been in Mindanao, Philippines for three weeks working on getting the container of TOMS shoes through customs. Cannot even begin to explain the process...very frustrating. We just received word that the Container has cleared and the truck will transport the container tomorrow.

33,863 Pairs of Shoes for the children in remote villages and in the evacuation centers who lost everything in the recent Typhoon.

I leave Monday the 6th for Mindanao. also taking a young couple who will serve as permanent missionaries there as we implement an aggressive outreach to remote areas with the gospel message and training school and community development centers.
