Please keep Bishop Lawson in your prayers. Right now we have very little information but he's been hospitalized and his condition is serious!

The following was posted by Bro. Lawson's daughter Angela on FB:

The following is from my Mom about Dr. Fred Lawson, Tomlinson College instructor from 1985-1991.

Dear Friends-
Our family wishes to express our sincere appreciation for the prayers of faith that are going up on behalf of Fred. The last 24hrs have been very critical for him. Last night his condition made it necessary for him to be placed on a breathing tube. It was necessary to sedate him to allow his body rest for recovery. He is receiving antibiotics intravenously as well as fluids to fight infection and dehydration.

He remains in the critical care unit where today's goal is for stabilization. We are thankful for doctors & nurses who are attentive to his needs and the questions/concerns of our family.

As we walk through these present challenges, we are ever mindful of the closeness of our brothers and sisters in the faith. Your prayers are touching heaven on Fred's behalf and are lifting us during this difficult time.

Even when our flesh is weak in body our spiritual being is always connected to the Father. Yesterday as Angela (daughter), Shane (son), and I gathered around Fred to pray the Holy Spirit ministered to and through him. We know that "The Lord is our refuge and strength a very present help in the time of trouble."

Thank you again for your prayers for our family. We love you all!
Sincerely,
Sis. Judy

The bed holds a body
That's periled with pain
The doctors have tried but
All hope seems in vain
Oh but wait somebody's prayin
In the midst of the gloom
And all at once the Great Physician
Steps into the room

There's power in prayer
Power to spare
All that you ever need is waiting right there
A few words, little child's faith, then it's goodbye despair
Oh there's power, so much power, there's power in prayer

great update. prayers continue. My wife and I went on a Holy Land Exodus tour with them in 2007, and got to know them a bit.
Thanks, Brent "RamboPreacher" Hoefling
