WI-FI networks and text messages

Postby Susie Hamilton » November 2nd, 2012, 12:58 pm

I finally got my home wifi password and works great. Question. I use AT&T. I do not have unlimited texting, I pay per text. If I sign my iphone onto my home wifi network and text, does it apply to my ATT&T account, would I have to pay for them? Thanks.
To God be the Glory.

I believe your ATT contract likely divides text messaging from data... web-browsing, etc. and texts on wifi are still texts.

Go to Apple App Store and download Talkatone. Free app. You can make calls and text from even an iPad for free thru your Google account.
