The moms!!! SECOND PLACE!!!! OH Yeah! Not bad for middle aged, pleasantly plump gals!! They rocked last night, who knows, these two might surprise everyone and pull it off!!
Last week "themoms" hinted that this was their strategy, to make everyone underestimate them, and to surprise everyone in the end.. my hubby wasn't sure he was buying it, but who knows???
Colin and Christie were surprising this week, maybe they will help each other mellow out. (That actually is what happened to my hubby and I. His mother said Sam was "driven" before he met me. lol don't tell him I said that.
)
NOTICE how they always catch Nicole saying anything slightly terse to Brandon, I don't like that. She isn't perfect but we all have our moments!She was having a low faith moment when Brandon decided to pray. My hubby actually used that as a sermon illustration in his sermon tonight.
Sometimes we trust our own efforts before calling on God.
That was awesome, God came through!!

Pretty ho-hum episode in my opinion. Only one Colin outburst. A few scattered prayers here and there.
The bridge thing would have made me really nervous. I have had a fear of heights in the past, although I've done some pretty crazy things to conquer it (300 ft cable drop for one).
I just knew Brandon & Nicole were going to choose the ducks over the easier thing. Glad they wised up or they could have been sent packing.
Was it wrong for Chip & Kim to use the yield? Not at all. Part of the game. Those guys have snuck around a little bit themselves so they certainly can't stand on some kind of pedestal of integrity. It will be interesting to see how they confront them next week.
Speaking of next week, with the finale, here's my forecast:
WHO WILL WIN: Colin and Christie - no stopping these two, even after the yield. I was glad they weren't eliminated based on a yield since they've really played a good game. I will be shocked if they don't win.
WHO SHOULD WIN: Bowling Moms - I can't believe I'm saying this, because that whining drives me nuts. But these two have done every competition, even the ones where strength makes a big difference, and still kept up. They have weathered the storms, held strong and didn't lose faith.
My favorite couples aren't either one of those. Chip & Kim and Brandon & Nicole are the most likeable folks on there and I'd be thrilled if either couple won.

I never laughed so hard till I saw Colin have the worlds biggest hissy fit!!! 
I hope when he sees this he realizes what a butt he is. If I had been Christy, I would have run that ox over him!!! 
He's still a moron! I'd really would hate to seem them win. Just my opinion.
Chip and Kim were smart using the yield...put them in first place!! Of course that set off Chip...but it's a game!!!!! I loved listening to Chip as he climbed that rope ladder..."The Blood of Jesus", "Help me Jesus"....See, that would be me, I have such a fear of heights that my legs were noodles just watching them!! 
Brandon and Nicole really nothing stands out with them this week...But I was glad they didn't go for the ducks too!

This is my favorite one too and I can let the kids watch it! Although it's on late, I think we watched it early one time on a Saturday repeat.
Colin was being a jerk! But both he and Christie were hissying- I thought they were going to burst a blood vessel or something! And we kept yelling at Christie to stop nagging, and get in front of the ox like the others did! (She really pushes his buttons, and he's hot tempered enough to begin with..)
I actually didn't enjoy this show as much because the intensity level was way up there, they were having to yell at the taxi drivers etc. to try to win, felt a little sorry for them-- and the taxi drivers! Boy that one driver Brandon and Nicole had was not going to budge!

I was glad to see Chip and Kim win! I was also rooting for Brandon & Nicole as well, but after that episode on the bike (what was THAT?), I was a little reserved about it. I predict that relationship will last about one week after making the publicity rounds.
What a great finale! Can't wait for the next round!!!!!

Yep, I was pulling for Chip & kim as well.
I got tired of the way CBS kept cutting away to the breaking clouds everytime Brandon & Nicole said a prayer. Too much Touched By an Angel....
After the bike scene on the mountain.... I was hoping they'd lose.

I was so happy to see Chip and Kim win....after Nicole's little temper tantrum on the bike, there was no way I wanted them to win. She really pushed my buttons this episode. I really feel sorry for Brandon and I agree with you DeWayne, I don't see them lasting very long. Did you notice they didn't show Brandon's comments after the game, just Nicoles? Thought that was odd. And the breaking clouds were too much for me too!
Colin and Christie never recovered from the Yield. It psyched them out more than anything. I'm glad they didn't win, just because of him. He's just a jerk and didn't deserve the million.
I have to say I was very proud of the bowling moms. They really surprised everyone hanging on as long as they did. They should be really proud of what they accomplished. That rope climb was the killer and they knew it from the beginning. I loved how strong their friendship was. That was really cool. That's like me and my sister....except, we'd yell at each other..in love of course!
Chip and Kim played the game right and took advantage of the Yield. That Yield and the early flight really pulled them up front. I was worried when they got to the Fort Worth Stockyards to the maze...it's small, but it's confusing!!! They seemed to be having a hard time and I thought for sure Colin and Christie was going to catch up with them. I was yelling at my screen when they were in traffic....DFW rush hour can be a killer, but when I saw Chip and Kim get out of the cab I was so excited and yelled that I scared my dog! I think I get into this show just a little too much...
Now...........We wait for next season!!!!!!!!!

Selfish of me
I have been feeling like I have been a bit selfish, and need to consider making a change.
Because this forum is a fenced-off set of threads, apart from the general discussions, there is little reason for me to embargo posts on reality shows until they air in Hawaii... I can just exercise some restraint and stay out of here until 10:00 PM HST. The rules still stand otherwise -- anybody who spoils it for us westside people by posting a spoiler ANYWHERE EXCEPT Get REAL will be temporarily cast into out darkness where there will be weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth until I cool off an unban them.
I realize it is torture to see the end of an episode, have a comment, and be required to wait 6 or 8 hours to post your thoughts, and I aoplogize for my short-sightedness and selfishness.
