As far as heroes and villians go, this board is…

Personally, I haven't had a problem with anyone on this board that would make me want someone banned, but one person and he's not here anymore.

When I see the fireworks start, I either join in or butt out. So for the complainers who keep bugging Pastor Gary, stop bugging him...either join in or butt out of the conversation. It's really rather simple. I think we all learned this little lesson back in grade school, didn't we?

Two things guarantee that will never happen;
1. While I am secure enough in my masculinity to sit on your knee, I am not socially, politically, or theologically liberal enough to.

2.I do not want to have to explain to God how come I irreparably damaged your knee by placing my bulk upon it long enough for you to sing "Tea For Two"...
Why is it that bad decisions seem to make to most interesting testimonies?

Though Gerald, LIKE ME, can be reactionary at times, AND we don't always agree on everything,

I say

Let him be, let him be, let him be.
God Bless You

I like it. I could invite you over:

"Picture you upon my knee, just tea for two and two for tea,
Just me for you and you for me, alone!"

Arent you a little too small to be asking a full grown man to sit on your knee?

[quote="ImaPK"]BAN GERALD? ... and then if you still have a problem get the jawbone of an ass and kill him?...wait a minute I'm combining scriptures

I like to say something really funny here, but it might get the thread locked up :P :P It has to do with suicide, but I will leave it alone.

I don't post very much but I do come here each day to read what's being discussed. I've discovered that there is this little thing on my mouse that allows me to just scroll past any post I don't want to read. Just because someone has posted something does not mean that I have to respond. There have been many times that I've read something that I wanted to respond to in a very negative manner. I've found that if I wait until the next time I come to read, I've cooled down.

You see, I've walked where many (including Gerald) have walked. I've experienced the hurt caused by many years of COGOP dogma. I too, would lash out if I had not discovered the healing power of God. I also, become defensive when I think someone is trying to put me or those I love back into the religious bondage that we suffered under for so long.

So Gary, please don't ban anyone here. I'm so thankful that you have created a place where all can come and pour out the hurt, anger, bitterness, etc. and if we so desire, become whole again. It's a lot like going to therapy. Why I'd even welcome Pastor Walt back! :P Oh, and yes, I've learned a lot from all of you!

I like this board. I'm not as faithful as I use to be (please don't turn me out), but I love dropping in when I can! Admittedly, reading what some of the "players" write gets under my skin at times, but its all good! Thats what makes the world go round, so to speak. Govern the board as you see fit, PG. I trust your leadership!

I love Jude2 just the way it is! I too dont post here as often as I use to but I still read almost everyday, sometimes 10 times a day.(if the readin's good and the heats turned up)

I dont think you play favorites PG. I've seen you real'em in and cast'em out (so to speak). Some would be, (and in other places have been) to quick to push the ban button. You have a great thing going here IMO,
dont fix it if it aint broke!

Michael,

I am so glad to see you here.

.....and it really would have been okay for you to say "you all" with a southern drawl

I liked the way it sits. I like the sportbike feel. I just don't have $17k to cough up for it right now.
