Give me the facts, nothing but the facts, without the hype and glamor shots. WHY should I vote for your guy? I don't want a video about how nice he is or some fluff on his family or religion. What is his position on the Economy and Taxes. How does he feel about copyright and intellectual property laws? What is his stance on Freedom of Religion and Separation of Church and state? Don't give me labels like conservative or liberal, give me where he stands, how he has voted, or what laws he signed into being or vetoed out of existance. I don't care what he says about Iraq because if EVERYONE were honest, they'd say we can't pull out right now and we have to stay, probably for 20 years or more. I want to know how he feels about Defense and Defense spending, School Funding and REAL educational improvement instead of hollow promises and empty budgets.
Many of these things are available on his website,
www.mikehuckabee.com. If you do a little research, you will find most of what you desire. The way I found out about him was to dig and research myself. Neither Huckabee, nor I, have the time to give you a line item list of answers to your questions.
You come across as someone who is sitting on his couch with his arms folded waiting for someone to dump your idea of the perfect candidate in your lap. I hope that you are going to expend some effort yourself to find out what each candidate stands for instead of depending on me, Drudge, or Al Franken to tell you what (s)he thinks.
Then Steve, you don't know me very well. I do not trust what is on any candidate's webpage just as I do not trust what a commercial for Aleve says about its side effects. I need to see the EVIDENCE of what they are saying and no one has stepped up with anything more than rhetoric.
I have read and re-read every published work I can find by the candidates (Even Hillary's "It Takes a Village", Lord knows I wish I could sue her for the time it took.) I have watched their press conferences whenever possible and even have searches saved on YouTube to get the ones I miss (Turned off Obama's for a while, got tired of Obama Girl.) At this point, I probably have about as much info on Huckabee as anyone and I am STILL bothered by inconsistencies in what he says compared to what he does.
I am not sitting waiting for someone to tell me who to vote for in this election, I am looking and waiting for anyone to give me a solid GOOD reason to vote for one of these losers over another and I cannot find one reason which is compelling. Is it asking too much to have a sound reason to base a vote upon before casting it? Apparently so.

BTW "bud", next time read where it says Author and you'll see that my name is Andy, not bud, so please use it next time instead of the derogatory use of a term of endearment and I doubt you'll get such a vitriolic response and I AM gonna vote, I just don't know if it'll be for one of these guys or a write-in---Maybe a good business man like South Korea just voted in.
I apologize for obviously offending you, Andy. It was my Good ol' Boy coming out...thus the punctuation. Have some coffee and relax.
I am not offended, but a bit aggravated that everyone makes the assumption their colloquialism is accepted by all people everywhere. I do not call anyone "bud", "boy", "dude", or any such term as it shows a lack of respect for the person being addressed. I still say "Yes, Sir" and "Yes, Ma'am" to any who are older or hold a higher rank than I do and I am teaching my son to show the same respect to others.
I am also so relaxed the folks around me check for breathing on occasion

Written word does not properly convey emotion and thus you read me as uptight and lazy and I read you as disrespectful and arrogant. Maybe we should
both rethink our positions?
