Is Kentucky so far different from the rest of the world or is this the typical jab at the the south east because I have yet to live in an area where in TN that this wasn't true.
Thank you Mr. Danger. I noticed that little jab by PG too, and I didn't appreciate it. You would think that someone who is from Alabama would know that we Southerners aren't isolated back woods hicks. We gots them internets and cable TVs just like all you citified West Coasters and HI-WHY-ANS.We do know what is going on in the world, and have exposure to other cultures. Some of us even have college degrees and travel. I for one, even know a few Southerners that even wear shoes and have all their teeth.
Ohhhhhh PUUULLLLL-EEEEEEEAAAAZZZZEEEE!
I am from Alabama, and that was not a southern slam. It was directed at Gerald's narrow view, at least what he expressed in his series, in which he appeared to question how a man could attend a school run by a religion other than his own.
You can lose the regionalist persecution complex and pull that deep-Dixie chip back down off your shoulder. I speak with the same accent, was shaped by the same culture, and went to a school called the "Rebels."
