I must be in the minority. It takes me less than 5 minutes to fall asleep, usually much less. If it takes me 10 minutes, it feels like I have tossed & turned forever.
TV on, lights on.... usually doesnt make a difference.

I never just "fall" asleep. It takes a dedicated effort. Forcing myself as still as possible. My mind is to active.

yeah, I totally get what you are saying. Although, sometimes after a really hard day at school, it doesn't take much for me to go to sleep. The kids just make me really tired every now and then

Using the KJV, I can fall asleep in about an hour. the NASB takes about 90 minutes or two hours.either way, I know when I am ready and taket eh headphones off, turn off the MP3 player, then it only takes a few minutes after that for sleep to hit me.

sometimes, if I am really restless, the tv will keep me awake. But if I've gone a full day, watching star trek does the trick.
